Before Justin Vernon became Bon Iver, he was a musician living at home and in 2006 recorded an EP called 'Hazletons'. He made 100 copies of the album and sold them at a local record store. I did not have one of those copies, but it has found its way to the internet. The track 'Hazelton' could be a Bon Iver track, mainly because it's just as good as his Bon Iver material. This sounds like an uplifting song, yet still feels heartbreaking, Justin knows how to comprise beautiful melodies, he is a master at his work. I think Justin is arguably one of the best singer/songwriters of the decade.
