He is taking his comedy/rap show on the road for his IAMDONALD tour. I was at the first ever Childish Gambino show in NYC this past summer. It was dope. I am looking forward to seeing how far Donald has come in a year. Tickets are now on sale for all of his shows. My boy Childish Gambino has a new track for you. I can really relate to his self confidence issues. You're the man Donald... I'll never forget that first show in NYC. Can't wait for Community to start back up either. This new song 'Untouchable' is true to the man spitting on it (he made the beat too). Donald Glover is truly untouchable right now. Childish Gambino - Culdesac

We told you about Childish Gambino's first ever concert... so it's your own fault for not being one of the 150ish people squeezed into The Creek and The Cave the other night. I posted a video for those of you that couldn't make it. Childish Gambin's new album 'Culdesac' dropped yesterday, just in time for the 4th. It's free, so there is no reason you don't download it. It's an hour of fresh beats, honest lyrics, and an overall 'I don't give a fuck, I'm gonna do me' attitude.' If you heard the first two indie/rap mixtapes, then you will have an idea of what Donald likes to rap about. He really brings it for 'Culdesac', each track is so different then the other. He isn't afraid to go from hard hitting spitting over a punchy beat to slowing things down and actually using his talented singing voice.

'Culdesac' is about making connections. Donald is the coolest mother fucker around, but it wasn't always like that. He was a 'white' black kid, someone who didn't fit in with the others that he went to school with. Those kids didn't know who he was so they made fun of him to try and label Donald. This is something relate-able to a lot of people and it's a theme throughout the album. He also talks about making it big and how now allllll of his people want to be best buds with him, he even gives a shout out to his inspiration Tina Fey.

The track 'I Got This Money' is a summer anthem, it should be played at every party. The lyrics to 'So Fly' are catchy as fuck. And Donald says it best on 'You Know Me', 'You people just realizing that I'm awesome why'd it take so long...skip around the album it's not hard to find your favorite song.' Childish Gambino First Concert Ever 6/30

Mr. Donald Glover himself told us via his twitter that he, aka Childish Gambino will be having his first ever concert on June 30th at The Creek and The Cave in Queens. 8pm and tickets are $5 at the door. I am really excited to see what Donald has in store for us, it would be really great to meet him too. What a cool dude, so it seems. Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is most known for his star role on NBC's Community. He is also a rapper, we wrote about him in Feb. I think his stuff is really original, with a Lil Wayne flow to how he speaks. Donald also works his comedic side into his work as well, which is hard for people that it just doesn't come natural to. Donald Glover is my new favorite actor/human being. He is by far the funniest guy on NBC's new show 'Community' and when he teams up with Abed, I am literally on the floor laughing. Turns out Donald Glover is also a badass hipster! He dresses cool, listens to cooler music, and has a sweet blog. http://www.iamdonald.com/ He posted a mixtape under his alter ego Childish Gambino. It's called 'I'm Just A Rapper' and The Babe raps over a bunch of the indie worlds favorite songs. It's fucking legit, he can spit and pretty much calls himself out as being the man, which he is. The dude fucking raps over Washed Out! He should be opening for Toro Y Moi, now THAT is a fucking show. Huge fan of this his stand up, and the work he is doing on NBC.
